About me
For more than 10 years, I have been translating specialist texts for numerous clients in the Trier and Luxembourg region. These include internationally active companies, notary's offices, law firms, courts, authorities and private individuals.
My working languages are English, French, Spanish and German (mother tongue). I translate mainly specialist texts in the fields of business, marketing and law.
Qualifications:
- Degree in translation from the Institute for Translation and Interpreting at the University of Heidelberg
- Sworn translator for English, French and Spanish, authorized by the Higher Regional Court of Koblenz and the Supreme Court in Luxembourg.
- Degree as European Management Assistant and Bachelor of Arts in International Business.

Specialised Translations
The language of business is my strength. I am also familiar with the special features of legal language. Translating is not just about transferring words from one language to another and using the right technical terms. The translator also mediates between two cultures and, in the case of legal language, between two national legal systems.
In marketing translations, the translator's work begins where the dictionary ends. Marketing texts are full of methaphors, wordplays and ambiguities. A high degree of creativity is required here: I translate the message of your advertising text precisely and accurately into the target language.
Sworn Translations
I translate official documents of all kinds and notarize them with my stamp and signature.
Official documents include, for example, birth certificates, marriage certificates, certificates of unmarried status, marriage contracts, court judgments, statements of claim, extracts from the commercial register, sales contracts, driving licenses, identity documents, etc.
Since 2010, I have been an sworn translator for French, Spanish, English and German by the Higher Regional Court of Koblenz and the Supreme Court in Luxembourg.
